Not the heavy burden making us Stress

At the time of giving lecture about Management of Stress, Stephen Covey lift a glass of water and inquire to all its student: " How heavily according to you about this glass of water ?" All student answer to start from 200 gr until 500 gr. " This is not the problem of absolute weight of it, but depended how long you hold it,"Covey says"

If i hold it during 1 minute, So there's no problem. If i hold it during 1 hour, right arm is in pain. And if i hold it during 1 full day, possible you have to call ambulance for me. It is same Weight, in fact, but the longer I hold it, So the heavier the burden.

If we bring our burden continuously, later we will not can bring it again. That burden will increased. What we must do is to put down the glass, breathe before lifting it again. We have to leave our burden periodically, so that we earn fresher and can bring it again.

"Not the heavy burden making us Stress, but the duration for carrying the burden." Stephen Covey.
