Life is Our Greatest Teacher

It is not necessary to empty ourselves completely; only important to remove the barriers between yourself and the world around you.

These are the emotional and physical walls all of us construct to protect us from love, caring, pain, suffering, attachment...

To be receptive is to simply open the door of your mind and heart and feel your energy and soul blend with the world around you.

Open, compassionate and non-judgmental are all part of the same circle. Each one needs the other.

Look at every person and each situation as if it were the first time. Begin your own thought process as if you were a blank slate.

Imagine yourself as that person and think of how you can offer kindness instead of judgment. Your compassion may be the only light for one drowning in the darkness of despair.

The Chinese concept of Wu Wei is often mistakenly translated as "non action". The true meaning is "doing nothing to disturb the spontaneous flow of things" and is the foundation of Taoism.

Become the conduit of the flow of energy and ideas instead of a roadblock. Use your intuition - when something doesn't feel right, find another path.

You will know in your heart when your Chi/vital energy is in line with the Great Universal.

No one said it would be easy. You may never do it all and since life is an endless process, you will never be done. But that's not important.

Being the best person you can be and making the world around you a better place for all is not a job with a beginning or end. It is an perpetual flow that we hopefully get better at as our experience grows.

Only you can know your feelings and they are the sum you as the microcosm of the universe. Know yourself and you will discover a deeper meaning to your existence.

Most of all, remember these are simply the thoughts of one seeking the meaning of his own life.
